Amruta is back to touch your hearts with a thoughtful, inspirational, and engaging short film, ‘Hema’. She is doing this film with her favorite co-star, and husband, Sandesh Kulkarni. Yesterday Amruta shared a piece of teaser news on her Instagram saying, “Something beautiful coming up tomorrow morning... so grateful to the universe that it is giving me many chances to work with Sandesh. This time it happened because of a wonderful director...Kaustubh Deshpande! I love working with new directors.. love their passion. I have been fortunate to have worked with much of this new talent. This short film promotes drinking healthy water for avoiding fatal infections. It shows how the happy couple falls apart after the death of the husband due to typhoid. The story inspires women to take charge even after becoming a widow.
Amruta who is known for her iconic performances in ‘Shwaas’, ‘Gully Boy’, ‘Zoka’, ‘Avghachi Ha Sansar’ and ‘Sacred Games 2’, will also be seen in ‘Phirse Honeymoon’ with Sandesh Kulkarni. ‘Phirse Honeymoon’ is coming to theatres on 2nd January and is helmed by Amit Phalke. Sandesh Kulkarni who has given remarkable performances in, ‘Gulmohar’, ‘Coffee Ani Barach Kahi’, and ‘Rocky Handsome’, will be on stage after a long time! This play is presented by Scripttease Productions and Prithvi Theatres.
